Welcome

December 13, 2020

Welcome to what is the first of many entries coming your way.  This morning I woke up to a beautiful winter wonderland.  This is the first significant snowfall we have had in our area this year.  I love when the fresh snow hangs on the tree branches!  I love the beauty of those little details.  I have always been a detail-oriented person and believe in all those details.  Any event I have planned has always been about those little details that stand out.  People remember those details.  I think those details are what make events memorable.  With the new year right around the corner, I am working on some new things that will make your event unique.  I can't wait to share this with all of you!

Happy New Year

January 2, 2021

As I sit here tonight, I look forward to what the new year has in store. It began with an engagement at our house.  My oldest daughter is now engaged to her boyfriend of 3 years and we could not be happier!  Another party to plan with all those little details.

I look forward to all the weddings, graduations, bridal showers, baby showers and other parties that will take place this year.  For those that had to postpone their plans- this is your year!  Celebrations will happen again, possibly a little differently than originally planned, but they will happen.  I am confident of that.  I think this past year has taught us to appreciate what we have and not take for granted that tomorrow is promised.  So I am beginning the year with telling you to celebrate those little things (and the big ones too!) because those little things will someday be remembered as the best things.  Cheers to 2021!

Support Small Business

January 31, 2021

It has been quite a couple weeks since getting back from the Wedding Planner and Guide Show.  If you saw my "Live" from the showroom on Friday, you saw that we completely rearranged it and you got to see the entire room!

I had a couple conversations with vendors at the show and learned that we all have one very important thing in common.  We like to make events special.  Some of us have services in common but are unique in our own ways.  I also realized that we can all help each other out.  I am happy to help support local business.  You will see that I have a couple that I support now and more that I will add in the future.  Check out their websites for more information.  They do have some great pieces and services to offer.

I have had quite a few clients lately and it amazes me at how different each of them are.  It is so fun to hear what they are planning for decor, how they met their significant other, why they are choosing the special items for their wedding and the list goes on.  Recently a bride came in and mentioned to me that she felt such a sense of relief knowing that all of her decorations were now taken care of.  She said she had shed quite a few tears over the last week worrying about how she was going to bring all of her decor together.  That really got me to thinking.

I LOVE to plan a party.  If you talk with my family, they may tell you that I can be a bit over the top sometimes.  That might be true, but everything always turns out so nice and I hear comments about those parties months, sometimes years later.  To me that means the world.

That's what I try and give to all my clients.  In today's world, things are getting expensive and with the past year we have had, people want to get out and celebrate and be with their people.  I can only hope that what I do helps others to be able to have a great time with their people and not break the bank.

I honestly do not do this to make a ton of money.  I do it to make people happy and enjoy those special moments in their lives.  Helping to create memories, one client at a time
